Last month I purchased the Clarisonic professional facial brush. This brush is amazing, If your looking for deep pore cleansing this is the perfect tool . It's not abrasive to the skin, you can use it twice a day and there are three brush attachments you can purchase. There is a normal, delicate and sensitive brush attachments.  Although this brush is priced on the high end, it's worth the investment when it comes to keeping your skin healthy. Prices range from $150-$235.

What's your skin telling you?

I first heard of Chinese Face Mapping years ago when I started Esthetician school. The Chinese belief  is that the entire body can be mapped out across the face where different parts of the face correlate to different organs and systems on the skin. If you sufferer with skin problems such as acne breakouts this may help you with altering certain changes that could be causing the breakouts. I always ask my clients that suffer with acne what type of diet they have because it all starts from the inside along with other factors such as stress or lack of sleep which can contribute to changes in the skin and cause breakouts.

• Get 7-8 hours of sleep daily
• Eat a well balanced meal
• Used correct skin care products recommended for your skin type

What is Beauty?

Beauty comes in all ages, shapes, sizes and colors and it's up to each individual to have confidence self-love for your beauty to shine. In my opinion society and the media plays a huge part in women not having confidence to love who they are because they are constantly comparing themselves to what they see in magazines and on tv. You have to accept who you are and love the person you were made to be. There will always be someone who looks better, has a better figure, who’s smarter then the next person. Don't spend your time comparing yourself;  love "YOU" and embrace "YOUR BEAUTY" God has given us all something special and it's up to you to have confidence to believe and know you are beautiful and not need validation from anyone to assure you.

Safe Waxing For Clients

Waxing is one of the most popular methods of removing unwanted hair. The #1 thing that should never be done when waxing is for the waxing stick to be "DOUBLE DIPPED" the reason being is t he hair is removed from the root which leaves the hair follicle open. If some one has some type of infection or disease and the same waxing stick is dipped in the wax it's contaminated at this point. You also have to make sure the wax is not too hot for the client. The wax I use on my clients is a low setting wax, I always make sure the wax isn't too hot before I apply it to the skin and I ALWAYS use a new waxing stick and NEVER DOUBLE DIP my waxing stick. Some people are misinformed thinking the temperature of the wax kills bacteria which is completely false. In the State of California only Estheticians or Cosmetologist are licensed to perform waxing services so always be careful who you allow to perform these type of services.

I decided to do a blog so I can talk about the things I love which are skin care, makeup, fashion, handbags etc. I guess I should introduce myself first. My name is Trina I'm a Licensed Esthetician 18yrs, I love what I do it's my passion! The name of my business is BeautyNeverExpires; I feel you can look your best no matter your age not just in your 20's feel great in your 30's, 40's 50's and beyond.

 I get asked a lot what is my favorite part of being an Esthetician and I would have to say; corrective skin care. When a client comes to me that has a skin condition such as acne or hyper- pigmentation and they want to get rid of the problem it makes me feel great once they go through treatment and we start to see results. When that client has a smile on their face and they tell me they see the results of their skin, that's the best feeling in the world!

As an Esthetician I do Facials, Corrective Skin Care, Eyebrow Design, Lash Extensions & Makeup.  I take so much pride in the work I do and I want nothing more than for my clients to look and feel their best.
